Intellibee is Hiring a Data Center Technician Near Kennesaw, GA

Responsibilities:

  • Unbox equipment and inspect for damage
  • Apply asset tags in proper location
  • Rack equipment into assigned location
  • Cable equipment using included cable management systems and organizational tools
  • Label data and storage connections on the cable
  • Connect Data and storage connections to assigned ports
  • Document equipment into the DCIM system to keep inventory up to date
  • Dispose of packing materials

This position will assist the Server and Storage team with installation of servers and storage in the datacenter. This position will need to be able to lift at minimum 50 Lbs. including above the head or in a team lift with another technician. In locations with lifting equipment, this requirement is limited to lifting the equipment onto the lift and attaching equipment to the equipment mounting system. The position will conduct the installation of hardware including running data and storage network cabling, labeling of cables, running of power cables, and documenting locations for inclusion of inventory and sending requests to the Networking group. This position will also assist in maintaining inventory documentation when not involved in equipment installation.
